Feeding Frenzy Monterey Bay Aquarium
Feeding Frenzy at Monterey Bay Aquarium
See Cannery Row's kelp forest — both inside and outside our walls! The wild kelp forests inspired our founders to build the Aquarium over three decades ago. Walking through the Kelp Forest exhibit, you get a diver's-eye-view of the Monterey Bay, minus the wetsuit. Watch the video on our YouTube channel. There's a feeding frenzy in the Monterey Bay. Here, five humpback whales forage for fish in the same spot. Jodi Frediani/Monterey Bay Whale Watch. A humpback breaches near the Moss Landing power.
You may have been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium before, but it’s unlikely that you have experienced it the same way as you will on this tour. On Sunday, January 26th, 2020, be a part of a small group of twelve that gets to see what the Aquarium staff does to feed the fish before the doors open to the public. The tour begins with a private viewing of the sea otter feeding and training session. The group will then explore the Aquarium behind the scenes and get to roll up their sleeves and serve breakfast to many of the wonderful finned friends.
Join the Wellesley Feeding Frenzy tour for a reduced rate of $45 per person, a savings of $70 from the typical entrance fee to the Aquarium of $50 and separate tour fee of $65. Shelley Sweet, Wellesley Monterey coordinator, is able to use her volunteer card to cover the group’s entrance fee. However, those who have their own membership card should bring it. The tour is limited to 12 individuals. You may RSVP for yourself and one guest. Children 8 and over are welcome. RSVPs accepted until December 20th in order to assess event interest. The RSVP deadline may be extended to January 20th, depending on initial interest.
Please note that tour attendees must arrive at the Aquarium on the tour date by 8AM. The group will gather to show membership and tickets at the Reception Office of the Administrative Building at 866 Cannery Row, across from the general public entrance. The Tour begins promptly at 8:15AM and will last for two hours. We hope many of you will stay for coffee/tea at the Aquarium Café afterwards for some social time.

When's a Burrito Not a Burrito?
No tortillas here — a 'blubber burrito' is less like Mexican food and more like a Fitbit for sharks! In our latest video, scientists hide a tracking device in seal blubber and feed it to a fascinating finned friend.
This obviously isn't accurate, as Blast Radius isn't applicable to, say, Auto Rifles. The list you see on this page is trimmed to only show stats that actually appear on the weapon. Q: Any catch with this?A: The Bungie API currently says that all weapons can potentially roll with all stats as their masterwork stat. However, it is possible that Bungie has additional logic behind the scenes that further filters thesepossibilities to, for example, prevent certain items from being able to have an Impact masterwork. Until Bungie modifies the API files to 100% accurately display which masterwork stats are possible oneach item, take what you see here with a pinch of salt. Feeding frenzy multikill clip last hope.
